APHA GPH Film Festival - Repurposing and Adapting Videos for Public Health Response and Education

This exciting session demonstrates how films and animated videos can be adapted and re-purposed for efficient and effective public health response and education locally, nationally, and globally. Presenters will showcase a variety of example videos that have been adapted for different audiences, languages, regions, health issues, and emergency response situations. Some time will be devoted to discussing how cloud based digital technologies can increase collaboration and re-purposing of videos thus enabling a faster and more cost effective approach towards video distribution. Presenters will also describe existing resources for increased outreach and effectiveness.
Session Objectives: Explain and demonstrate how films and animated videos can be adapted and re-purposed for public health education and response on an international scale.
