This session is multifaceted. Attendees will gain insight into domestic and international issues affecting women's health. Attendees will learn more about initiatives around fully paid maternity leave, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and intersectionality. Attendees will also be able to learn more about female genital alteration, how the Affordable Care Act affects family planning, and other cutting edge topics related to women's health.
Session Objectives: After attending this session, participants will be able to:
1. Describe issues affecting women's health at a global level
2. Identify ways in which policy and media shape women's health
