This session is being proposed because public health nurses have a long standing interest and involvement in promoting maternal and child health through home visiting services. This session will update and inform the audience about a range of nurse-led home visitation programs throughout the country. The evidence supporting the implementation of each program will be discussed.
Session Objectives: Discuss the strengths and challenges of various nurse home visiting programs Identify evidence supporting the implementation of various nurse home visiting services Describe societal impacts on maternal child health
