The purpose of this session is to reveal the importance of collaborative approaches in public health as an effective approach to reduce the burden of chronic disease in our communities. The audience will learn about various models for working with community providers, universities, and public health agency systems. The nature of this session will also help audiences to understand how collaborative partnerships also led to the opportunities to enhance public health education and training, research, and service.
Session Objectives: Describe the key components of a successful collaborative partnership for between multiple systems of healthcare advocates to improve health.
Discuss the benefits and challenges associated with building an effective hospital-community partnership.
Explain the collaborative functions as they coordinated assessment and assurance of activities devoted to improving partnerships to improve health.
