Performance management: Steps to managing effective public health organizations

Turning Point's Performance Management National Excellence Collaborative, comprised of seven state public health departments and six national partner organizations, has developed a framework for managing public health performance. This performance management model will be presented and discussed with case studies providing public health practice examples. Additional tools and resources available to public health agencies, programs, communities and states interested in developing performance management systems will be described.
