This session will describe the outcomes of the Management Academy for Public Health, a 9-month mid-career, team-based management program. In 1999, the University of North Carolina's School of Public Health and Kenan-Flagler Business School developed the Management Academy as a national demonstration project sponsored by the CDC Foundation. The public health business plans developed by the 700 Academy graduates have resulted in over $6 million in enhanced revenue for local and state public health agencies.
