The Turning Point’s Leadership Development National Excellence Collaborative (TPLDNEC) has made available its “product package” of tools and models that can be used in leadership training programs and within state and local health departments to educate participants on Collaborative Leadership. Funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in 2000, the TPLDNEC is a multi-state collaborative whose mission is to “increase collaborative leadership capacity across sectors and at all levels.”
This package includes reading materials, training curricula, a video series, and a self-assessment tool. In this session, the 360° Collaborative Leadership Assessment Tool will be highlighted. This tool measures an individual’s capacity to work effectively in a collaboration. Developed by consultants Roz Lasker, Ph.D., Carl Larson, Ph.D., and David Steffen, Ph.D., the tool will measure the critical capacities identified in previous TPLDNEC collaborative leadership research.
