Public Health Libraries in an Online World: A Case Study from Michigan

This presentation begins with a survey of library resources in all 50 United States departments of public health. It then describes the current state of development of the Michigan Community Health Electronic Library (MCHEL), the digital library of the Michigan Dept. of Community Health. Special attention is given to collaborative efforts with academic institutions and hospital libraries in providing digital library service to the department and its local affiliates.
