What's Working in Our Communities: Native Solutions for Public Health Issues
Tuesday, November 3, 2015: 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Poster
As more public health program development and implementation is being done with Native communities to reduce health disparities, it is important for us to examine what strategies are working and making a positive impact on our communities. Sharing what’s working in our communities strengthens our capacity as Indigenous people and allows us to build a healthy future for our Native youth. This poster session will provide an overview of various efforts – research and programmatic strategies – on “what’s working” to reduce health disparities in our Tribal communities.
