IOM Roundtables on Health Equity and Population Health: Multiple Dimensions of Expanding Opportunities for Health

This session will explore four different, but related, presentations focusing on the meeting and effects of opportunity and inclusion across several factors that affect health. Presentations are based on the activities of the IOM Roundtable on the Promotion of Health Equity and the Elimination of Health Disparities and the IOM Roundtable on Population Health Improvement.
Session Objectives: Describe why community engagement and partnerships are key to achieving health equity and improving health outcomes. List three strategies to engage the knowledge, assets, and abilities of communities.
