The Impact and Importance of EHRs in Public Health
Wednesday, November 4, 2015: 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Oral
Electronic health records have become the key building block in the data infrastructure that informs health outcomes, especially at the clinical level. Doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and health departments all have to depend on them. Unfortunately not all EHRs are created equal (or, some are more equal than others). This session considers a few examples of how EHRs are being managed across various care settings.
