Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am the Director of NIA Office of Special Populations. My office facilitates studies focused on health disparities; facilitates the development of initiatives to enhance NIA’s research and training efforts targeting underrepresented groups, including minorities and women; and provides advice and guidance to senior staff on health research related to special populations. I am also the chair of the trans-NIH Special Populations Research Forum and member of the NIH Diversity Catalyst Group.
