What's Underneath Project

Monday, November 2, 2015 : 12:40 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Seth Oelbaum, StyleLikeU, New York, NY
Founded in 2009 by veteran fashion stylist, Elisa Goodkind, and her daughter, Lily Mandelbaum, StyleLikeU’s intimate docu-style video portraits are at the forefront of a cultural shift in how the public thinks of beauty today. In 2014, they launched their viral video series, The What’s Underneath Project. The project strips us down to open us up, exploring untold stories related to gender, race, aging, body image, and more. Over the next two years, Elisa and Lily will turn What’s Underneath into a global movement for self-acceptance — the essence of true style.
