AIMS
In South Korea, the prevalence of violence towards women was 33.1% in 2007, 38.8% in 2010, and 34.4% in 2013. The number of victims may be higher than official reports. This study was conducted in order to investigate the level of IPV, depression, perceived stress and satisfaction, communication, conflict resolution in couple relationship and correlation between them.
Methods

The Woman Abuse Screening Tool (Brown, Lent, Schmidt & Sas, 2000), the Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression(CES-D) scale, four-item version of the Perceived Stress Scale(Cohen, Kama & Mermelstein, 1983), three couple scales(Olson & Larson, 2008) were used.
Results
Twenties and forties were 45.9%. The proportion of married or previously married people was 68.4%. 31.0% of the subjects had experienced or heard violence between their parents. The level of IPV, depression, perceived stress were low(2.61), very severe(30.70), and very high(2.56) respectively. The levels of satisfaction, communication and conflict resolution in couple relationship were moderate (33.02, 32.07, 31.76). A significant relationship was observed between the level of IPV, depression and satisfaction, communication, conflict resolution in couple relationship.
