This session will discuss the role of the Section Councilor in the PHN Section. As one of the elected positions that comprises each APHA Section, it is also one of the most challenging to define and operationalize. Past and current challenges and successes will be described in the context of the broader mission of APHA. The Section Councilor role will be explored in comparison to other APHA Sections. Future directions and options will be identified while keeping PHN Section member goals at the forefront.
