The purpose of this session is to explore strategies for the integration of public health promotion and prevention education and training into clinical practices. As the public health arena continues to develop, the integration of health promotion and disease prevention into primary and specialty care setting is vital.
Session Objectives: List three strategies for incorporating public health concepts into health professions training.
Describe three ways in which a clinician can bolster public health workforce infrastructure if they have a "public health-infused" education.
