The presenters in this session will discuss the transformation of peoples lives as a result of innovations in public health practice. Examples of simple and cost effective technology which has resulted in dramatic improvemwnts in the quality of life for many communities , especially those living in low socio economic settings will also be highlighted.
Session Objectives: Discuss role played by social innovations in improving the health of communities.
Discuss examples of succesful invotions which have improved the lives of underserved populations.
