This session will address common problems affecting the health of women and children. These include war,trauma and migration, parenting skills, reproductive health and family planning, infant growth and nutrition and obstetric hemorrhage. These are problems that have been with us for a long time and the papers will address new insights into causes and solutions.
Session Objectives: 1.Describe key issues affecting health outcomes of women and children.
2.Discuss the role of war and trauma on migration and parenting.
3.Explain the factors relating to infant growth stunting.
4.Evaluate use of non-pneumatic anti-shock garment and predictors of maternal hemorrhage.
