Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Dr. Martinez, a liscensed psychiatrist, is the executive director and the first Hispanic to lead the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health in Austin, Texas. Dr. Martinez holds a concurrent appointments at the University of Texas School of Social Work; and at the San Antonio School-of-Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry. He currently serves on the Institute-of-Medicine’s Roundtable on the Promotion of Health Equity and the Elimination of Health Disparities. Research interests include minority health and health disparities.
