She is currently employed at Public Health Seattle and King County where she manages Community Health Worker program that address chronic disease self-management for people living with asthma and diabetes. Formerly, she was Program Director, and later a volunteer board member for Migrant Health Promotion. She also serves in the Washington State Legislature.
