Identify steps to building a coalition of diverse partners from varied disciplines to help prevent CWF rollback. Discuss communication and successful advocacy strategies as they relate to local and statewide CWF efforts.
Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am the project coordinator for Iowans for Oral Health and continue those efforts as we transition to new leadership. Prior to joining the coalition, my MPH internship included an assessment of the fluoridation status in Iowa and coordinated stakeholder session to review and explore future fluoridation efforts in Iowa and communication strategies. My oral health experience includes more than eight years as a general dentistry assistant and involvement with oral health initiatives throughout Iowa.
