Latinos are disproportionately uninsured, Texas offers opportunities and challenges to gaining health coverage for uninsured Latinos. This session will cover effective outreach strategies, tested methods, and a discussion of the particular needs when outreaching to the Latino community.

Define the particular challenges to enrolling Texas Latinos in health coverage. Assess best practices and strategies for engaging Latino communities in coverage issues.
