This presentation will include the current progress of Utah's state, local and tribal public health deprtment's Quality Improvement and PHAB Accreditation efforts; focus in Utah's urban/rural department involvement and a potential "improvement gap" preceived and possibly real barriers to implementing quality efforts

Describe the assessments of health status of all Utah Public Health Dept. Accreditation efforts as of the date of this Presentation. Compare the differences in agency leadership interest in Quality Improvement and Accreditation between the rural and urban agencies in Utah. List some of the public health quality "Successes’ outlined from leadership in Utah’s state, local and tribal agencies.
