Comprehensive Cancer Control in 8 LMIC Countries: Evaluating the International Atomic Energy Agency's Programme of Action for Cancer Therapy
In all eight countries, the International Atomic Energy Agency's PACT Programme used its role in equipping countries with radiation therapy and palliation as an entry point to mobilize the other components along the cancer control continuum. The political context for NCCPs differed in each country, making some components easier to build than others. Each country had successes in certain activities, and some successfully built an NCCP integrated into their Ministry of Health. Details on the countries' accomplishments will be presented.
