Biographical Sketch: Tim Lawler, Ph.D., MPH, is a licensed psychologist and the Director of the Counseling and Outreach Unit at Peace Corps. He has worked for Peace Corps since January 2009, providing evidence-supported mental health service to victims of assault. He has also trained Peace Corps medical officers on incorporating Trauma Informed Care practices for use with all Peace Corps Volunteers. Tim previously served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Colombia in the 1970s.
