Biographical Sketch: Paulo Pontemayor is the Advisor for Government Relations at the API American Health Forum. Before this, Paulo worked in Congress on issues related to health, natural resources, education and budget. Originally from Guam, Paulo graduated from the University of Washington and has an MPH from George Washington University, where he was a health policy scholar. He was selected as a Bryce Harlow Foundation Fellow and was awarded Families USA’s Health Equity Champion in 2012.
