Biographical Sketch: Wayne Clark Ph.D is President of the California Mental Health Services Authority and since 2002 the Director of Behavioral Health for Monterey County Health Department. Prior to that he was the San Francisco Health Department’s, Director of Substance Abuse Services. Dr. Clark has been Principal Investigator on numerous program and research grants, such as: a clinical trial of acupuncture detoxification, HIV prevention strategies for at risk populations, and methods of dissemination in drug treatment research.
