Biographical Sketch: Pamela Mejia is a research associate at the Berkeley Media Studies Group, where she analyzes how the news shapes discussions around public health issues. She has presented her research on child sexual abuse in the news at meetings around the country. She graduated from Washington State University with a degree in nutrition in 2004, and from UC Berkeley with a Master’s in Nutrition Science in 2006. She received her MPH from UC Berkeley in 2010.
