Biographical Sketch: Brandi Niemeier is an assistant professor in health promotion at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Her research interests include examining relationships of parental behaviors and children’s development of lifelong dietary and physical activity behaviors. She earned her Ph.D. in Human Development from North Dakota State University, has published in national and international journals, and has led presentations at local, regional, and national conferences. Her primary career goal is to inform the advancement of health promotion initiatives.
