Biographical Sketch: D. Imelda Padilla-Frausto, MPH, is a graduate student researcher at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research, and a doctoral student in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Padilla-Frausto collaborated on the development, publication and advocacy of the California Elder Economic Security Standard Index. Her research interests include a range of mental health topics and how health surveillance data influence health policy and practice within California.
