Mobile health apps are becoming more and more commonplace, to the tune of tens of thousands. Unfortunately, many consumers never open these apps once they are downloaded and installed. The key reason may be that they are designed without taking health behavior theories into account. This session seeks to understand this phenomenon.
Session Objectives: At the end of this session, participants should be able to: discuss health behavior theories relative to the design of mobile health applications.
