Wearable devices are gaining in popularity, and their usefulness for improving health shows great promise. It is difficult however for researchers to harness the data generated by these devices for the purpose of tracking health improvement. This session will explore how these "quantified self" gadgets can be used to improve research methods and outcomes.
Session Objectives: At the end of this session, participants should be able to:
*Describe the uses of wearable sensors in research
*Identify the optimum sensor for their intervention
*Discuss key factors related to integrating sensor products within interventions.
