This session examines a variety of child health issues in the context of policy and practice in child care homes, centers, and programs in the US, Korea, and China.
Session Objectives: After attending this session, participants will be able to:
• Know the factors in home and child care environments that impact children’s health and nutrition.
• Identify strategies for collaboration to effectively improve child care environments.
• Distinguish differences and establish connections between state regulations and national recommendations.
• Describe trends in prevalence and policies related to pediatric asthma in Head Start Programs.
