This session highlights cutting edge research and practice for promoting maternal physical and psychosocial well-being and fostering healthy birth outcomes. Posters examine a range of clinical, psychosocial, and system-level factors, including maternal health behavior, medical risk, stress, social support, health care access and quality, and their relation to important MCH outcomes, such as preterm birth, low birthweight, infant morbidity, and maternal mortality
Session Objectives: Describe clinical, psychosocial, and system-level factors related to maternal and infant health during the perinatal period.
