This poster session provides participants with the opportunity to discuss new and emerging themes in breastfeeding research as well as review the impact of established breastfeeding practices in different population. Participants will engage in discussion with a variety of presenters whose expertise include the clinical impact of breastfeeding, population level determinants of breastfeeding, and economic/financial relationships to breastfeeding.
Session Objectives: Compare breastfeeding practices at the local and global levels
Discuss maternal and family predictors of breastfeeding success
Examine the impact of clinical interventions and practice on breastfeeding success
