According to National Institutes of Health, one area of translation concerns research aimed at enhancing the adoption of best practices in the community. This session presents exciting research and evidence on a wide range of approaches to translating research to practice in the areas of chronic illness and infectious disease among diverse Asian/Pacific Islander populations.
Session Objectives: Identify examples of translational research implemented in Asian/Pacific Islander populations in the US. Discuss key factors that need to be considered when translating research to practice among Asian/Pacific Islander populations in the US.
