Sexual and Health Risk Behavior (Social and Behavioral Epidemiology)

Members will gain an understanding of perceived health and sexual risk behavior. Additioanlly, information on current HIV education among adolescents and its effectivness and the barriers to condom use among a female college population will be described.
Session Objectives: • Describe the association between self-perceived health and chronic disease and self-perceived health and health risk behaviors. • Assess whether current HIV education strategies are effecting among adolescents. • Discuss the attitudes and norms of sexual intercourse and condom use among college students.
