Participants will obtain an understanding of influenza vaccination among a sample of health science students, risk factors and associated health conditions related to age when planning influenza vaccinations and and vaccination uptake in a sample of health care workers.
Session Objectives: Assess the relationship between knowledge, perceived risk, and influenza vaccine uptake in health science students.
Identifying risk factors related to age, sex, and underlying health conditions should be considered when planning influenza vaccination and treatment strategies.
Identify factors that are related with vaccination uptake among healthcare workers.
