The purpose of this session is intended to define the impact faith-based communities have on public health interventions.
Session Objectives: Explain the relationship and potential impact of health and religion. Identify evidence-based practice utilized in religious communities to address health disparities. Identify the importance of strengthening the relationship between faith and public health communities.
