Think Global, Act Local: Best Practices Around the World

This session will provide attendees with information on nurses practicing in various locations of the world and what nurses in the US can learn from these practices. The practices to be discussed include school nursing in Scotland, post-partum care in Asian cultures, alternative therapies in Russia and health promotion in Guatamala. Attendees will be challenged to compare nursing's best practices in the US with those in other countries.
Session Objectives: Objectives: Discuss nursing best practices in various international countries Compare and contrast nursing care in the US with other countries. Explain ways that international experiences enable nurses to think and act globally.
