Health disparities cost the US economy well over $1T every year, to include direct medical costs that number in the hundreds of billions. In order to close these gaps, predictive analytics and mapping using HIT tools could be very useful. This session explores some promising best practices.
Session Objectives: At the end of this session, participants should be able to: discuss the potential impact HIT could have on reducing health disparities.
