I have established a public health program for vision including surveillance, effectiveness research, and programs. I have planned and drafted a 5 year strategic plan for CDC “Improving the Nation’s Vision Health, a coordinated Approach”. I have been involved in a CDC project to improve glaucoma detection amon high risk groups in the US. My expertise in vision care and public health led to numerous appointments and publications.
