For 17 years, she has led creative and innovative programming for primary care and public health. Previously, Young led state level public health programs. She has been a member of APHA for many years and is a CHPPD Governing Councilor. In 2008, Young successfully led a collaborative policy on vitamin D for CHPPD and APHA.
