Accelerated progress and bolder action is needed for gains in sanitation ,reduction in undernourishment, improving survival of children & mothers and environmental sustainability Disparities stand in the way of further improvements. Correct policy choices are essential with a renewed focus on inequality and distributional equity, ensuring convergence of efforts to meet the developmental goals.
