This presentation will describe the key components of the new statewide health plan that was successful due to advocacy work of the Massachusetts Public Health Association. Techniques, collaboration and strategies used to advocate for the health plan will be outlined.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Stacey Chacker serves as Director of the Asthma Regional Council of New England (ARC), a program of Health Resources in Action. ARC is a multi-disciplinary coalition that seeks to tackle the environmental and clinical contributors of asthma, with a special focus on the most vulnerable populations in New England. Stacey has over 25 years experience in community development, coalition building and leadership development. Stacey received a B.A. in Urban Social Geography from Clark University.
