An overview of the pilot project initiated by APHA's Center for School, Health and Education. The presentation will examine the intersections of health, public health and educational success. This discussion will also include an examination of why school-based health centers are a key strategy for school-wide intervention and prevention in the health and socially related barriers to graduation.
