The One Health approach is critical to understanding the risk of emerging zoonotic diseases, but how exactly is it being used? In this talk I describe the approaches we've used to analyze, understand and predict the risk of Nipah virus, SARS, avian influenza and related pathogens. These studies bring together ecological studies of wildlife, clinical studies on wildlife, domestic animals and people, and studies of human behavior and demography.
