Consumer outreach in Illinois: Implications and opportunities for public health
This presentation will also address implementation of consumer outreach and enrollment programs, with a focus on the potential role of the public health system in these efforts, and the potential impact on population health outcomes of successful outreach and increased coverage.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have been a government attorney for 15 years, and have worked in all three branches of government. I am responsible for establishing the Health Insurance Marketplace in the state of Illinois, the fifth largest state in the U.S., in partnership with the federal government. As such, I am responsible for all of the consumer assistance functions associated with the stateâs outreach and enrollment efforts.
