Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I was the Commissioner of Public Health for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from 2007 â 2012 and the Executive Director of the Boston Public Health Commission from 1998 â 2007. In these roles I was involved in efforts to promote prevention and public health politics and practices. I was a member of the implementation team for the Massachusetts health care reform effort, with responsibility for the public health components.
