Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am the founding director of the Master of Public Health program (instituted in 1991) at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and have been a faculty member since 1974. Iâve been centrally involved in the development/operation of the MPH, MS-CHE, and BS-CHE programs since that time. Iâve served as the chairperson of the national Competencies Update Project, 1998-2006, when national research was conducted to determine the role/responsibilities of health educators in the United States.
